It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Founder Reverend Dr. Gloria Jacobs.
Reverend Dr. Gloria Jacobs was an extraordinary woman of God who faithfully led Emmanuel Baptist Church with wisdom, grace, and fairness through the guidance and power of the Holy Spirit. Throughout her life and ministry, she touched the lives of so many and continually encouraged others to discover and use their God-given gifts so that they, too, could be a beacon of His light in this world.
Her presence, leadership, love, and devotion to God will be deeply missed, but her impact will forever remain in our hearts and within the Emmanuel Baptist Church family. We will love and cherish her always. Though we mourn her passing, we find comfort in knowing that she has gone home to be with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Information regarding Pastor Jacobs’ funeral arrangements will be shared as soon as it becomes available.
Revelation 14:13 says, “And I heard a voice from Heaven saying unto me, Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from henceforth. Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labors, and their works do follow them.”
