LAYING DOWN OUR CROWNS 👑
We have entered the 9th month of the year, and biblically, the number 9 is often associated with completion, fruitfulness, and the birthing of something new. What a fitting time to release what we’ve carried, surrender what we’ve accomplished, and give God the glory for it all.
Revelation 4:10–11 gives us a powerful picture of the twenty-four elders casting their crowns before the throne. Their crowns represented honor, victory, achievement, and authority—yet in the presence of God, they recognized that He alone is worthy of all glory, honor, and power.
As we enter this new month, may this be our posture:
👑 Lay down the pride.
👑 Lay down the anger.
👑 Lay down the unforgiveness.
👑 Lay down the laziness.
👑 Lay down the self-aggrandizement.
👑 Lay down the indecisiveness.
This September, may we enter with surrendered hearts and one declaration:
God, the glory belongs to You. 👑
“You are worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honor and power.” — Revelation 4:11
