We offer Catholic Masses and other Sacraments as a parish of the Diocese of Brooklyn, while also providing catechesis and inviting all to pray in our Shrine Church and outdoor grotto.

Welcome Father Alex Olszewski! Father Alex was ordained a priest in 2022 and has since served as Parochial Vicar at Saint Thomas Aquinas (Flatlands). Beginning June 30th, he will be assigned as Parochial Vicar to Saint Bernadette and Saint Frances Cabrini parishes! Please pray for Father Alex as he goes through all of the usual emotions regarding his farewell from his first assignment and be sure to share your joy at his arrival into our section of Brooklyn when you see him!

To all our Parishioners and friends, if you are interested in registering your child for Religious Education (CCD) Grades 1-6, our classes are held on Wednesdays, from 3:30-5:00 pm in the school building. Registration for new students for the 2026-2027 school year will take place on the following Wednesdays in April and May between the hours of 10:00AM & 2:00PM:
May 6th, 13th, & 20th or by appointment.
Please come to 1313 83rd Street (main doors of the school building) with your child's Baptismal certificate and fee. The fee per family is $225 payable by check or money order to The Shrine Church of St. Bernadette. For further information, please call 718-232-7733 or email us at [email protected]

Pope Leo XIV will pray the Supplica to Our Lady of the Rosary in Pompeii on May 8th, the first anniversary of his pontificate! Pray this special Prayer of Petition to the Virgin Mary at noon on May 8th and join our parish as we pray together at the 11:00 a.m. Mass on Sunday, October 4th.
