The Hebrew month of Elul is a time of reflection and preparation before the Jewish New Year. Through prayer, music, study, and the sound of the shofar, we begin the process of "cheshbon ha’nefesh" — taking spiritual inventory and preparing our hearts for the High Holy Days.

Looking Ahead to the High Holy Days 5787

The High Holy Days are just around the corner, and we’re looking forward to coming together as a community for reflection, connection, and renewal.

There are many ways to be part of the High Holy Days at Temple Sinai, including:

• Tot Services for young children
• Family Services for children ages 6–12
• Adult learning and community programs
• Babysitting during Sanctuary services
• Our Scroll of Remembrance Memorial Book
• Our annual Grow Clinic Food Drive

Whether you join us in person or online, we hope you’ll find meaningful opportunities to prepare for and experience this season with our community.

Families are always welcome at Temple Sinai, and membership is not required for our Tot and Family Services.

Celebrate the High Holy Days with the whole family at Temple Sinai!

We offer meaningful experiences for every age, including Family Services designed for school-age children, Tot Services filled with music, stories, and holiday fun for our youngest community members, and babysitting during select services so parents can participate in the main sanctuary service with peace of mind.

Today, members of Tzedek@Sinai were honored to join advocates and community leaders at La Colaborativa in Chelsea as Governor Maura Healey signed the PROTECT Act into law.

The new law strengthens protections for immigrant communities by limiting state and local involvement in federal immigration enforcement, protecting spaces like schools, hospitals, and courthouses, and helping ensure families can access essential services and the justice system without fear.

We’re proud to stand alongside our partners in the ongoing work of pursuing justice, dignity, and safety for all.
