United Parish in Brookline September - June: Worship at 11am. Summer: Worship at 10am

United Parish - Brookline is an open and affirming, reconciling and welcoming church in the neighborhood of Coolidge Corner, affiliated with American Baptist, United Church of Christ (UCC), and United Methodist Church (UMC). We have four directions that guide our life together:

Exalting in Worship—celebrating God through worship, music, and art

Deepening in Christian Faith and Spirituality—equip

ping ourselves for lifelong spiritual journeys

Gathering in Community—creating a sense of home in our community

Stretching into Justice—following Christ by serving others

Thrifty Threads, United Parish's volunteer-run thrift store, is open Fridays and Saturdays 12-3pm.

GBIO Norfolk County District Attorney Candidates Forum
Tuesday, June 9 at 7pm in the Sanctuary. Join GBIO member religious organizations at a forum with the six candidates running in the September 1st state-wide primary for Norfolk County District Attorney. Candidates will respond to our specific questions regarding their perspectives on the role of district attorney and their priorities as they relate to our views on justice and equity and other faith principles. All are welcome!

From June 21-September 6, Summer Worship will take place at 10am in Willett Hall. After worship, we'll have some fellowship time... we'll provide the lemonade, you provide the treats! You are invited to an end of the year celebration with the UPSeniors (formerly Growing Grandparents) on Wednesday, June 10 at 10am in Chestnut Hill. Our time of fellowship will include a Chair Dancing class: Move, Groove and Improve, followed by a potluck picnic lunch. Please wear comfortable clothing and bring a dish to share. Starting on May 26, Town Meeting will vote on whether to allocate over $4 million in town taxpayer funds across eight local projects in the areas of affordable housing, historic preservation, and open space and recreation.

This year’s potential recipients include United Parish, which will use the funding to restore a historic steeple tower.

The projects are spread across the categories of affordable housing, historic preservation and open space and recreation.

Teen and Parent Dinner Night
Join us on Sunday, May 31 at 6:30pm in the Parlor for an evening of food and fellowship with other parents and their teens. We will share a meal, play some games, and make new connections and friendships! This event is just for teens (anyone who will turn 13 during this school year and up) and their parents/caregivers.
