CONCERT TOMORROW: Sunday 15 March, 4pm. Buxtehude’s Membra Jesu nostri. The All Saints Choir joins a period instrument ensemble to perform this monumental cycle of cantatas from 1680 as a fundraiser for the Donald Teeters Memorial Music Fund.

This work stands as one of the most profound Passion meditations of the Baroque era. The sixth cantata, Ad Cor (to the heart), features a consort of viols whose warm timbre is employed to address the heart. The cantatas are interspersed with readings and instrumental selections from Schein's Banchetto Musicale. Tickets available on the website and at the door! Link in the comments.

Thought of the day: How has your understanding of Scripture evolved over the years, and what passages continue to resonate with you? It's important to reflect on our individual growth and our understanding of the Word every now and again!

"For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." - Jeremiah 29:11

Triduum Sacrum—The Three Sacred Days—is the name given to the days leading up to Easter: Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, and Holy Saturday. These services are understood to be unitive, that is, on these nights, the faithful gather to celebrate the death and resurrection of Jesus in one single liturgy that extends from the opening acclamation on Maundy Thursday to the dismissal at The Great Vigil. The liturgies of Holy Week are both challenging and rewarding, and we hope you will be able to join us either in-person or online.
