Brooklawn Methodist Church

Brooklawn Methodist Church We are a family-oriented, evangelical, Bible-believing church that preaches Jesus Christ. We have young families as well as middle aged and older adults.

Brooklawn United Methodist Church is a lively, mid-sized church in a small town along the Delaware River in Camden County, NJ -- a stone's throw away from the exciting inner city life of Philadelphia. We have a variety of programs for all ages, solid Christian education and youth programs, good music, and opportunities to grow spiritually through study and community action. Brooklawn United Method

ist Church is a fellowship of people who are seeking to live for God with all of our heart, soul, mind and strength. We have an active Sunday School, youth programs, and men & women's groups, as well as great worship services. Our worship style is a blend of Traditional and Contemporary. On Sundays we have Sunday School for all ages including three adult classes at 9:30am, Morning Worship at 11:00am and Evening Worship at 6:00pm. Wednesdays we have Bible Studies-- one in the morning at 9:30am and an evening study at 7:30pm. We have a strong missions emphasis and believe that Jesus makes a difference in the life of everyone who trusts in Him. We believe that the transforming power of faith in Jesus continues to change lives, giving us meaning and purpose. As people search for spiritual truth, the timeless power and truth of the Bible & the Lord Jesus it proclaims continues to be the answer for life's questions. Our church has just over 200 members with an average attendance of 125. Parking is on-street with a limited number of handicapped spots next to our elevator. A genuine, warm welcome awaits you!

Please be in prayer for the family and friends of Rev. Dr. Richard Leaver. Rich went home to be with his Savior Sunday evening. He served as pastor in a number of area churches and before retirement was chaplain at Collingswood Manor. He and his wife Dalene became part of our church after retirement and we enjoyed fellowship with them. He occasionally would preach or lead a Bible Study.

His Funeral will be Saturday, March 14th at 11:00am at Etherington Funeral Home in Gloucester City, with a visitation time from 10-11am. crerancelebration.com Thank you for your prayers.

Apologies, everyone. We aren’t tech savvy enough to be able to have the Sallee’s video set up in person and have the livestream running at the same time.

We are celebrating a great Mission Month 2026 regardless of the wintry weather which affected several of our planned events and services! Our goal of $55,000 as of this last Sunday of the month has almost been reached! We stand at $52,959.50. Praise God from whom all blessings flow!
If you did not get a chance to share your Faith Promise or your Coin Bank, there’s still time!! Drop us a note or bring them by this week and we will add them to the total. Let’s get this fully funded! Amen? Amen!!

Yesterday we prayerfully made the decision to cancel the Missions Month finale- both the evening service and our soup and sandwich night. Turns out it was the right decision- it looks like a big storm! Everyone’s safety, especially the safety of our HVMI friends coming from Lancaster, is our top priority.

So, here’s what you need to know! If you usually like to wait until the PM service to turn in your faith promise- that time is now in the morning! Bring your faith promise, bring any last minute gifts, and bring your coin banks! We want to have it collected so it can be counted before our LIVE announcement at 6pm Sunday night. There will be no evening service, but I hope everyone will hop on Facebook for a short announcement as we celebrate God’s Goal together.

The update Kyle Robinson was going to share in the evening will now be shared during Sunday School at 10am. He will also be giving a brief update during the morning service, but you’re going to want to come to Sunday School for the whole thing!

What about the SOUP!? Homemade Beef Vegetable and Chicken Corn Chowder were lovingly prepared for the evening fellowship time- but are now packaged and blizzard-ready for you to take to have in the comfort of your homes. Please stop downstairs after the service to take some home with you for a donation toward our Missions Goal. Quarts (2 servings) and 16oz (single servings) are available. Please be generous! 😁
