BHCC is a on-denominational fellowship of believers who have no creed but to Christ, no book but the Bible, and wear no name but Christian. We seek to speak where the Bible speaks and remain silent where the bible is silent. We take the Bible as our only rule of faith and practice. As a Christian Church, we do not claim to be the only Christians, or the only church; but we earnestly try to be know
n as Christians without a denominational label and dedicated to a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. We seek the unity of all people on the basis of confession and commitment to "Jesus Christ as Lord." Our hope is to unite everyone under the authority of Jesus Christ and pattern our lives after the Word of God. We Believe:
-That Jesus is God's Son and our Savior
- That the bible is the inspired Word of God
- In the physical death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ
- Although saved by grace through faith, works, awe believe Scripture clearly teaches us to follow up in obedience to Christ in believers' immersion (baptisms) as well. Upon receiving the promised gift of the Holy Spirit, we are indeed equipped to be productive servants of our Lord Jesus Christ.
- That baptism by immersion in water is required as part of the salvation process for the forgiveness of sins and the gift of the Holy Spirit. (Ephesians 2:8-9, Matthew 28:19-20, and Acts 2:38)
