On this journey called "life" you never know where it is going to take you; you just have to trust God. For the past 4 years I have been the proud Pastor of one of the most loving churches I know, Avery Chapel African Methodist Episcopal Church in Brookhaven, MS. As I start my new charge on tomorrow, I just want to say thank you Avery Chapel AME Church Family for loving and taking care of me, for you will always be MY FAMILY. ❤❤❤

Long Post:
As I opened Facebook this morning I saw a post by Bishop Harry Seawright, and he listed what the letter P meant to him today
(paraphrasing it). My response went like this," Provider, Protector, Provision snd Permission" all the things that the good Lord is to me and I can't thank Him enough and thank you Bishop Harry Seawright for the reminder. Than I listen to my friend Rev. Victor Mackabee as he preached an encouraging word about bring and putting your own stick for fire, Lord Jesus (it had me rejoicing even before Church started this morning. Thank you Pastor Victor Mackabee and New Beginnings Church for starting that 🔥this morning. GLORY to God!!!

Today at Avery Chapel African Methodist Episcopal Church in Brookhaven, MS, I was honored with a 4th Year Pastoral Appreciation, and I saw everyone of those "P" manifest itself today, God is really something.I am grateful to be the Pastor of such a compassion and loving congregation, God knew what I needed in His plan for my life at this stage of my life.

To the GREAT Avery Chapel AME Church Family, I am truly appreciative for all that you have done and is doing for me. From your encouraging words, prays, hugs, smiles, letting me cry on you🤣 and love gifts, thank you. It is my prayer ALWAYS that something that I say will encourage some lost soul on this Christian journey. Avery Chapel AME Church. I 💜💜💜 you. I been crying and 🙌🙌🙌💃💃💃all day.
