Good Morning! It’s Sunday, we would love to see you and your little ones this morning at PGBC. (hopefully, Daylight savings time doesn’t slow y’all down!) The Bible story we will review this morning teaches that Jesus taught what the Scriptures meant. Jesus used parables to teach and make things easier to understand by example. In today’s lesson, Jesus told about the Good Samaritan and what it means to love your neighbor.

👑 This Sunday our Bible story taught that people can choose to trust God, even in difficult circumstances. Esther listened to Malachi and trusted God to help her and protect her people.
💭 I encouraged the kids to think about tough situations they had been in and how trusting God could have or did help them make the best decision.
🗯️This week I want the kids to work on trusting God and doing what is right, even when it’s hard.

Today we discussed how people/we can respect
God's authority and obey His instructions. The Bible story teaches about two Israelites who spied on Jericho, trusted God and were protected by Rahab. This was something they went into thinking they would fail and being unsure if they would be able to succeed. However by trusting God’s instruction, they were protected by Rahab and in return Rahab’s family was spared when the walls of Jericho came down.

❓The kids were asked, “What is or could be a
difficult situation that you were unsure of that God
spoke to you and guided you?” and “How did you
or can you follow and trust him through it?”

🗯️Through this week let’s talk to our children about
different ways we can follow God’s authority and
instruction even when it’s hard.

We kicked off the church year starting off Unit 1 : Trust and Obey God. Over this unit we will look at 4 different life points:

🟣People can respect God's authority and obey
His instructions.
🟢 People can use their abilities to obey God's plans
for them.
🔵 People can choose to trust God, even in difficult
circumstances.
🟡 People can trust God with their needs.
