In honoring their memory, UUCW recommits to being a community of safety, inclusion, and justice. We hold the victims, survivors, and their loved ones in our hearts today.

Pulse was more than a nightclub. It was a place of joy, belonging, community, and refuge. We honor those whose lives were taken 10 years ago on June 12, 2016, and we hold close the survivors, loved ones, and LGBTQIA+ communities forever changed by that night.

May their memory continue to call us toward a world where every person can live openly, safely, and fully as themselves.

We had a meaningful time at Pridefest this year. Grateful for Rev. Jill offering blessings at the Blessing Booth, and for the UUCW members who spent the weekend co-hosting a table with Unitarian Church North in Mequon.

The honor is entirely ours! Thank you to Jim Gaillard for joining us on Sunday and sharing the inspiring mission of Ezekiel HOPE. We are proud to dedicate our June and July Split the Plate offerings to support your impactful work in the community.

Thank you to the Unitarian Universalist Church West (UUCW) in Brookfield for your recognition and support of Ezekiel HOPE and the work we do! UCCW's giving program, called Split the Plate (STP), selects and partners with various nonprofit organizations whose work contributes to a more just, equitable and compassionate community. In addition to publishing an article about Ezekiel, throughout June and July, UUCW will donate one-half of all undesignated Sunday offerings to Ezekiel HOPE. On Sunday, June 7, Jim Gaillard, spoke to the congregation about Ezekiel HOPE, greeted members in a reception line, and joined them for refreshments afterwards. We are grateful for UUCW's recognition and generosity!

A beautiful glimpse into last Sunday’s volunteer recognition ritual. Each gratitude stone, painted by our youth group and adult helpers, was unique, much like the individual paths of service that keep UUCW thriving. Thank you to everyone who gives their time, energy, and heart to our faith community.

Our Senior Bridging Ceremony honored our graduating youth, celebrating both the community that has nurtured them and the individual paths they are choosing to walk. Seniors received roses as they bridged to adulthood, and community members were ready to congratulate them. After the service, the graduates signed a classroom ceiling beam, adding their names alongside the signatures of the many seniors who have gone before them. Thank you to everyone who helped celebrate our youth as they embark on their next chapter.
