The Reformed Church of Bronxville

The Reformed Church of Bronxville Belonging. Believing. Becoming. Join us for worship service at 8:30am & 10:30am each Sunday. You belong here.

The Reformed Church of Bronxville is a family of faith, a home for all, at the heart of the community. We strive to create a community of extraordinary love with Jesus at the center. We do this through gathering in corporate worship, growing in spiritual formation, giving in humble service, and going in Christ-like mission. Our members and visitors come from many faith traditions: Presbyterian, Me

thodist, Episcopal, Roman Catholic—and Reformed, of course—to name a few. Some are just starting to explore what it means to follow Jesus, while others describe themselves as lifelong Christians. Wherever you are on your spiritual journey, you are welcome here.

RCB Friday Devotional: Fear, Faith and Freedom By Mary Mackintosh

The most common phrase in the Bible is a variation of “Fear Not” or “Do Not be Afraid.” I have not counted, but I am told the phrase appears well over 70 times through both the Old and New Testaments. I love the words of Isaiah 41:10:

Do not fear, for I am with you,
Do not be afraid, for I am your God;
I will strengthen you, I will help you,
I will uphold you with my victorious right hand.

This past Thursday RCB hosted the Bronxville High School Senior class for a day of service filled with celebration of life’s journeys. It also included a sharing activity, lunch, and fellowship with our Bronxville Senior citizens. We kicked off the day with a presentation and Q&A from Aqdas Shahnoory, a Georgetown University student and Afghan refugee whose family fled their home country when the Taliban took control.

Join us this Sunday, May 31st at 5:30pm with your family to hear from many of our mission partners while you enjoy a potluck dinner and games for children. This is a wonderful opportunity to learn more about the organizations we work with, interact with their leaders, and understand the impact of our service. We will have high school volunteers to entertain young children during the dinner. To RSVP, please scan the QR code, or email Mary Mackintosh for the link at: [email protected].
