Jesus was so excited about the baptism in the Holy Spirit that He began this declaration by saying, "Behold!" (Luke 24:49).

The Greek word for “behold” is “idou,” and it means, "Wow! Listen to this! This is amazing!" Jesus was injecting His own excitement into what He was about to tell the disciples.

Why? Because they were about to receive supernatural power from Heaven.
