Bring your friends and dance or play games with friends old and new. We have quite a few new people added to our group this last month, ready to meet us all. A DJ has been hired by the Tulsa Stake for your evening - even Rick can dance now. 🙂

As we celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ this Christmas season, serving others is a way we can be a follower of Christ and . On Saturday, day 16 of the "How can I ?" event, we are reminded that Jesus taught in Matthew 25:26, "[I was] naked, and ye clothed me.".

The Young Women of the Fair Oaks Ward are collecting basic items of warmth, like gloves, hats, scarves, and blankets that can be donated to Night Light Tulsa (http://www.nightlighttulsa.org), an organization that helps to feed, clothe, and give hope to the homeless of Tulsa. They meet Thursday nights from 6:30-9:30 under the bridge at Maybelle and Brady (202 N. Maybelle) providing these services.

Help us in Tulsa by bringing an item to our Ward Christmas party this Saturday. Boxes labeled with signs will be located on the stage.

The bishopric would like us to remember our stake goals. 1) Read the Book of Mormon every day for 6 months and share your experiences with the bishop. 2) Pray every day for missionary experiences. 3) Stake fast Nov 12 to be successful in missionary efforts and to have courage to share the gospel.

Our Ward Christmas party will be held on Dec. 19th at 6:30pm at the Broken Arrow building. Dinner with meat & beverage provided by the ward. If your last name starts with A-J, please bring a side dish; K-Z, please bring a salad or dessert. Program to follow!

Dear Brothers and Sisters,

There will be a special combined Sacrament Meeting held in the Broken Arrow chapel on Sunday, November 15, 2015 from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM. Since that day is our November Fast Sunday, this meeting will include time for testimonies from the members. All members of the Cedar Ridge, Fair Oaks and Indian Springs wards are encouraged to attend. This meeting will replace all regularly scheduled Sunday meetings for all three wards. There will be no auxiliary or priesthood meetings held in connection with this special meeting.

Extra seating and video service will be provided in various rooms in the building to accommodate the combined congregations of the three wards.

Due to parking limitations at the Broken Arrow chapel, all are encouraged to share rides to this meeting as much as possible.

The stake presidency has informed us that there will be no stake presidency interviews this Tuesday, November 10. Interviews will be held next Tuesday, November 17 at 8pm at the 7th street building in Tulsa.
