Today we celebrate a huge accomplishment for Pastor Azael Hernandez of Olathe Hispanic COGOP!

Azael has officially graduated from Spirit & Life Seminary, and we couldn’t be more proud of his dedication, faithfulness, and commitment to growing in God’s calling on his life.

Congratulations, Pastor Azael! Your church family is celebrating with you and praying that God continues to use you in powerful ways as you lead and serve others.

District 10 Rally Report
We in District 10, the Kansas City area, held our bi-lingual district rally this past weekend, May 1&2, with the theme, “Strength for the Harvest”. The Holy Spirit moved greatly among us in all of our services. Our youth emphasis night was Friday, and our worship team led us into the presence of the Lord. Addi Guzman, one of our ministers-in-training, followed up and encouraged us not to back down while in the work. Bishop Rick Newson had the opportunity to talk to the youth with a message of “Stay Juiced in the Spirit”. We had over 100 in attendance with 40-50 being our youth. God blessed our young people.
On Saturday we had powerful worship to start off each session. We were blessed by anointed messages from some of our district pastors: Willaim Gonzalez, Rick Nye, and Azael Hernandez. Our District Presbyter Rick Newson brought the closing message about God’s never-ending power. God is moving, He is drawing us together, and we are looking forward to what God has in store for our region. God is on the move!

From the moment we gathered, there was such a sweet sense of connection, joy, and anticipation for all that God was going to do. Every session was filled with encouragement, laughter, and moments that reminded us it’s never too late to walk in purpose and “dare to hope.”

A huge thank you to Larry & Susan Duncan for your vision and heart in creating this retreat. You made space for people to be refreshed, seen, and strengthened—and it showed in every detail.
We were so blessed by our special guests, Duke & Shirlene Stone, whose words spoke life, wisdom, and truth into every heart in the room. And Mykala Shaver led us so beautifully into the presence of God—those worship moments were truly special.

There’s just something powerful about being in a room full of people who are still saying “yes” to God in this season of life. The stories shared, the friendships formed, and the joy that filled the room made this weekend one we won’t forget.
