Faithful leadership is a gift.
Today we celebrate and give thanks for Bishop Gary and Cynthia Smith as they continue serving the Heartland America Region. Their lives have consistently reflected humility, wisdom, and a heart for God’s people. We’re grateful for their leadership and excited to continue advancing the Kingdom together.

Women, your voice matters. Before Peter preached, before John wrote, before the apostles carried the gospel to the nations, women carried the first testimony that He is risen.

That’s not a footnote in church history; it’s part of the foundation of it, and it hasn’t changed.

Don’t you back up, ladies. This church has always believed it: every Spirit-filled minister, regardless of gender, has a testimony worth telling.

If God calls you, we’ll bless you. If He anoints you, we’ll affirm you. If He sends you, we’ll accept you. Your gender doesn’t disqualify you from standing shoulder to shoulder as a credentialed minister of the gospel of Jesus Christ.

I’m grateful to be part of a church body that doesn’t just talk about the value of women in ministry—it believes it, affirms it, and creates space for women to faithfully answer God’s call.

This church stands firm on that, today and always.

Today was meaningful.

The middle of the year, at 12:00 noon—the middle of the day, in the geographical center of our Heartland Region—pastors and leaders gathered to pray for those who faithfully shepherd our churches.

But we don’t want this to be a one-time event.

Every Wednesday at noon, we invite you to pause wherever you are and spend a few moments praying for pastors. They carry the joys and burdens of many, often quietly and behind the scenes. Your prayers make a difference.

Would you join us in praying for:

🤍 Provision and blessing
🤍 Pastoral families
🤍 Freedom from discouragement and strongholds
🤍 More laborers for the harvest
