Week 2 of our REST series continued with Part 2 of the introduction from Senior Pastor JudiJo, REST is so much more than simply stopping.

Last week, we talked about the unforced rhythms of grace in Matthew 11:28. This week, we went deeper into what it means to enter into God’s REST, spirit, soul, and body.

Hebrews 4:1–3 tells us to make every effort to enter into His REST. Why? Because REST requires something from us.

We have to TRUST.
We have to BELIEVE.
We have to RELY on Him.

We REST because we know He will do it.
We don’t have to carry everything.
We don’t have to figure everything out.
We don’t have to make it happen in our own strength.

Psalm 23 reminds us that He is the Shepherd of our soul. He leads us, restores us, and takes care of us.

Senior Pastor JudiJo kicked off our new series, REST, with Part 1 of the introduction & we’re excited for what God is doing, it’s more than a series it’s a word from God.

Rest isn’t simply about taking a break from our labor or doing less. True rest is a posture of the heart. It’s learning to trust God, surrender what we were never meant to carry, and recognize that He is working even when we stop.

In a world that constantly tells us to do more, achieve more, and keep going, God invites us to REST.

We’re looking forward to unpacking what biblical rest really looks like and how it can change the way we live.

HAPPY 9 YEARS CGC!

We celebrated CGC’s 9-Year Anniversary, and as we look back over all God has done, we can say one thing for sure: GOD IS FAITHFUL!

From the very beginning until now, His hand has been on CGC. Through every season, every challenge, every victory, & every answered prayer, God has continued to provide, & build His church.

And to everyone who calls CGC home, thank you! Thank you for showing up, serving, giving, praying, loving people, & being part of this family. CGC is what it is because of the people God has brought together here & we have room for many more to come.

Here’s to many more years of seeing God’s faithfulness, reaching people, & impacting our world.

XN DAY at CGC is always a special day! This is the heart of who we are & where so much of what we do began.

There was a theme throughout the day: XploreNations is so much more than a Bible College. XNBC is a place for people to discover God’s plan, grow in HIS word, be mentored and equipped to make an impact wherever God calls you.

We are thankful for the heart and vision of XploreNations Bible College & the generations of lives it continues to impact.
