Welcome back,
In my previous post I mentioned different types of storms. Let’s talk today about the wind storm. We can’t see the wind but yet you can feel the affects of it. When you go outside into the wind it comes at you in all directions. Your hair can fly all over the place. If you drop a piece of paper that wind will take it flying down the road where you have to chase it, and you may or may not get it back. The wind can knock over things in your yard and even take them to your neighbors yard. You can even hear it whistling in the air, yet you can’t see it. Sometimes we have storms in our lives that are like a wind storm. All is calm then as soon as your feet touch the ground it’s coming at you in all directions. It smack you in the face, it it takes you in all diffent directions chasing after it, you can even hear it talking to you. This wind storm can knock you down and take you to places your not supposed to be. The problem is a lot of times we get stuck in this storm and its a viscous cycle we can’t get out of. And it goes on and on till it makes us weary and not thinking straight. It’s important to realize that we have to take control of this storm. You may not realize this, but you can have a sound mind. When your in confusion their is chaos when you have a sound mind you have peace. With chaos there is fear, and anger and no peace. So how do you get this peace? It doesn’t come over night, but let me tell you from my own experience it does come. One of my favorite scriptures from the Bible comes from 2nd Timothy 1:7 God has not given me a spirit of fear, but of Power, Love and a Sound Mind. With a sound mind comes Peace. Gods peace. When you get the chaos out and put peace in the wind storm in your life will calm down. Stick with me as we talk about the other storms in our lives. Don’t give up there is hope. Look up 2nd Timothy 1:7 read it aver several times before you go to bed then take time to do the same through out your day tomorrow. Say it out loud as you read.

Hello and welcome to RER page.
Let’s talk a little about the storms of life,but first let’s compare them to natural storms. Storms come in different waves. We have rain storms, snow storms and wind storms. Some people love storms and others hate them, and some people just tolerate them. A storm can come quickly or it can build up into something big. Most people do not like being out in the middle of a storm, because of the insecurities of what may happen. The storms of life are similar, they can come at any time. A lot of the time the storm of life comes unexpectedly, but so oftener they come slowly and build up until there is finally an explosion that is to hard to deal with, and that is when chaos comes in, and we make wrong decisions,and then wonder what happened? Where did I go wrong? some even blame God. Over this next week I hope I can help you out, and show you how you can calm your storm.

Well it's been 4 months since I've posted on our page. Man it seems like it was yesterday. Let me give you a little update on what's going on:
1) our first guy in the program is graduating. He has been with us for a little over a year. I don't know if you know the commitment he has had to put in to get to this point. He will be moving out in a couple of weeks.
2) we have room for a guy, so if you know someone that needs help just send us a message.
3) we are still pursuing another house, at this moment in prayer.
4) we are seeing incredible growth in the men not only in the house but those that attend our meetings on Tuesdays.

We are extremely grateful to God, he is so faithful in taking care of us.

Please always remember us in prayer. When the guy that is suppose to be posting on this page doesn't remind him to get moving.

Thursday nights at Joe's house are about prayer and his presence. We were looking at and talking about the suddenly of Acts 2: and expecting the suddenly Holy Ghost to show up . I remembered and this is so true, you will not have the suddenly without the continued. Acts 1:14 says these all continued in prayer and supplication...... I believe because of this reason we had suddenly last night. I looked around and it was intense, men were on there knees and the power and presence of God showed up. Do you need a suddenly in your life? From this day forward continue, and watch the suddenly show up.

We have three rooms in the house and during prayer we had themes for these rooms. Study,joy and peace. We never said anything to the guys in these rooms. It is interesting that is exactly what is restored and operating in there lives. God is awesome.

Wow it's been over a month since I posted anything on the Facebook. Somebody needs to get his social media act together. Here some updates with the house:
1) the house is full, we are doing great. The meetings are awesome and that's not me talking. That's me typing, hahahahahahaha. Hold on for a minute, hahahahahahaha.
2) we have looked at our second house, we need one. It's 7000 sq ft, 6bd, apartment and 10 acres. It's an absolutely gorgeous house. We have the potential of housing around twenty five guys.
3) one of the guys in the house has been free for seven months now. Glory to God.

PS. 84:10 For a day in thy courts is better than a thousand. I had rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God, than to dwell in the tents of wickedness.

Today's that day to take a moment and get into his presence, to hear clearly his direction, to embrace his loving kindness, to receive his love.

I know Saturday's are always days to catchup on the week. Laundry, dishes, stuff. Before you know it the weekend is over and you didn't accomplish anything.

Stop what you are doing right now, turn off the music, turn off the tv, turn off the noise.

Have you done that good, now we are on our way to his presence.

Lift your hands to heaven, and begin to tell him how much he means to you. Don't remind him of what you need you already asked him about that. Let him love on you.

Come on that was only a minuet. Quit thinking about all that stuff you have to do. It's just you and him, enter in he has rest for your soul.

Whooooooooooooooo, don't you feel better now.

Have you ever had that moment when someone's face crosses your mind. There is a particular momma that I know who has boys struggling with addictions and she has done everything you could possibly do to help them. I noticed her the other day and I could see the pain from the fight on her eyes. Today that face arose in my heart and I instantly dropped to me knees and began to intercede for her. The fight is real, the pain is real. GOD IS REAL. I encourage you to be sensitive about these. Mommas, they need our prayer. GOD HEARS YOU, SO PRAY, PRAY AND THE SHOUT THE VICTORY.
