"So they impaled Haman on the pole he had set up for Mordecai." (Esther 7:10 NIV)

Haman built a gallows for Mordecai. He had the power, the position, and the king's ear. For a while, it looked like he'd get the last word.

He didn't.

The very thing he built to destroy his enemy became his own undoing. The one who seemed to hold Mordecai's fate didn't hold it at all.

So whatever's set against you right now, remember this: it doesn't get the final word over your life. It never did. That belongs to God, and it always has.

She made it all the way to the door before she froze.
It was the first time Neta was going to walk into church without her husband. She couldn't make herself go in.

She did, eventually. And she decided no other woman would have to do that alone.

That's why she leads our widows group here at Life.Church South Broken Arrow. This incredible group of women have found connection with one another and through their common story have build a deep connection with one another!

"On this day the enemies of the Jews had hoped to overpower them, but now the tables were turned and the Jews got the upper hand over those who hated them." (Esther 9:1 NIV)

The edict was real. Signed, sealed, and by Persian law, unchangeable. For months, it looked like the end of the story for the Jewish people.

But real isn't the same as final. The day meant for their destruction became the day of their deliverance.

So this week, when the hard thing in front of you feels like the whole story, remember that it isn't. What's real right now doesn't get to decide how things end. God isn't finished.
