Following Jesus means choosing a life that looks beyond ourselves. Philippians 2 reminds us that unity doesn’t happen by accident. It takes humility, selflessness, and a willingness to put the interests of others before our own. And ultimately, Jesus is the standard. His mindset becomes our mindset. His humility becomes our example. We were never meant to follow Jesus alone. We belong to Christ, and we belong to one another. So let’s collaborate, uplift each other, celebrate shared wins, and live with the attitude of Jesus.

Last night at Forged, men of all generations here at FBCBA gathered around the table for good food, honest conversation, biblical encouragement, and real brotherhood. They were reminded that following Jesus isn’t something they should do alone. They need other men who will challenge them, encourage them, and help them grow into who God has called them to be at home, at work, and in every part of life. Grateful for every man who showed up, leaned in, and was part of the night.

God didn’t call Joshua to be Moses. He called Joshua to be faithful. As Joshua stepped into a new season of leadership, God’s command was clear: “Be strong and courageous.” But that courage wasn’t supposed to come from Joshua’s ability, experience, or strength. It came from the promise that God would be with him wherever he went.

That same truth still matters for us today. Leading boldly means choosing faithfulness over success, trusting God’s promises more than our problems, and believing that wherever God calls us to go, He is not simply sending us there, He is taking us there. And bold faith is built by staying rooted in God’s Word. Joshua was told to meditate on it day and night, allowing it to shape his thoughts, decisions, and obedience. God’s Word isn’t meant to simply be known, it’s meant to be shown through the way we live.

So where is God asking you to take the next step? We only get one life, and God has given us one purpose. Let’s lead boldly!

There’s something special about a Sunday spent worshiping Jesus together. Lifting our voices, standing alongside our church family, and being reminded that we were never meant to walk this life alone is a gift we never want to take for granted. And getting to celebrate baptism makes it even sweeter. Watching someone publicly say, “Jesus has changed my life,” is a beautiful reminder of what all of this is about. So thankful for a church that worships together, walks together, and celebrates new life together!

Jesus reminds us in Matthew 6:33 to seek His Kingdom above everything else. When our priorities are in the right order, our lives begin to follow. When His Kingdom becomes our priority, it changes how we spend our time, use our gifts, make decisions, and live each day.

So the question is: Are we giving our lives to what counts for eternity, or getting sidetracked by the secondary?

We have one life and one purpose. Let’s use it to follow Jesus, live on mission, and make Him known!

There's no better Sunday than one spent in celebration of all the Lord is doing in and through FBCBA! New groups are getting started, kids and students are jumping into their new environments, and Vision Sunday gave us a clear mission that we couldn't be more excited to step into. Praise God for his continued faithfulness as we move into the year ahead of us!

Last night was such a special time with some of our incredible people. Our Leadership Summit was a night to equip, encourage, and inspire the amazing volunteers who pour so much into our church and ministry.

From meaningful conversations and ministry training to delicious food and an inspiring message from Pastor Matt, it was a beautiful reminder of what happens when we come together, grow together, and serve together.

So grateful for every person who showed up, leaned in, and continues to say “yes” to serving others. We’re better together, and here’s to all that God is going to do through this incredible team!
