REAL Church @ Christian Joy Fellowship in LI was a local church that was serving the Lord and Long Island for 35 years as of July 1984. We started in an American Legion Hall for the first 16 years then we moved to Bellmore where we rented then purchased our first facility. In 2013 we moved to Farmingdale where we shared the Christian Community Church facility. We closed our church in Long Island i
n September of 2018 after those 35 years of faithful ministry! There were many lives impacted and works for God’s Kingdom accomplished. Pastors Michael J & Cynthia A Burns are both 1981 graduates of Rhema Bible Training College in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. They remain members in good standing with the Rhema Ministerial Association International. They were privileged to study under it's founder, Rev. Kenneth E. Hagin, Pastor Kenneth W. & Lynette Hagin, along with others such as Pastor & Mrs. Eugene Profeta, Dr. Edwin Louis Cole, Dr. John C. Maxwell, Charles & Frances Hunter affectionately known as The Happy Hunters! There have been a host of other spiritual mentor’s too numerous to mention that have assisted us in our spiritual development. MJB Ministries is a Holy Spirit Filled Charismatic Ministry that places our emphasis on the Lordship of Jesus Christ and the mighty power of the Holy Spirit.
