Praise God! The new building has passed the final inspection. We will have our first worship service in the new building this Sunday, November 24! Sunday school at 9:30, worship at 10:30!

Peter wrote, God "has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, to an inheritance that is imperishable, undefiled, and unfading, kept in heaven for you, who by God’s power are being guarded through faith for a salvation ready to be revealed in the last time" (1 Peter 1:3-5, ESV). Praise God for this assurance through Jesus Christ!

We are assured in our salvation. Paul quoted the prophet Joel, "Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved. (Romans 10:13, NLT) Salvation is secured for all those whose faith and trust are in Christ.

As Jesus said to so many when healing them, "Your sins are forgiven" (Matt. 9:2; Mark 2:5; Luke 7:48). May we take these words for ourselves as well. Let us dwell in that truth this morning.
