I will be your God throughout your lifetime— until your hair is white with age. I made you, and I will care for you. I will carry you along and save you." Isaiah 46:4 (NLT)

God's sustaining power is one of the greatest assurances given to His children. Life often presents challenges that drain our strength, test our faith, and leave us feeling overwhelmed. Yet God promises that He is not only our Creator but also our Sustainer. The same God who formed us in His love continues to uphold us through every season of life. When our own strength fails, His strength remains constant and sufficient.

Throughout Scripture, we see God's sustaining hand at work. He sustained Noah through the flood, Elijah during the famine, Daniel in the lions' den, and Paul through countless trials. Their circumstances were difficult, but God's presence never left them. In the same way, God sustains us today through His Word, His Spirit, and His unfailing grace. We may not always understand the path we are walking, but we can trust the One who carries us along the way.

Perhaps today you feel weary, burdened, or uncertain about the future. Remember that your security is not found in your own abilities but in God's faithfulness. He is able to provide strength for every challenge, peace for every storm, and hope for every tomorrow. His sustaining power is not temporary; it is an ongoing work of His love in our lives. As you place your trust in Him, you can rest in the confidence that He will carry you and keep you until the very end.

Prayer
Heavenly Father, thank You for being my Sustainer and my Strength. When I am weak, remind me that Your power is made perfect in weakness. Help me to trust You in every circumstance and to lean on Your everlasting arms rather than my own understanding. Carry me through every trial, strengthen my faith, and fill my heart with peace. Thank You for Your promise to never leave me nor forsake me. May I walk confidently today, knowing that You are sustaining me by Your grace. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Trust In Him: Surrender All Rev. Isaiah A

05/28/2026

“But He said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.’ Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.” 2 Corinthians 12:9

Grace is one of the greatest gifts God has given to humanity. It is His unearned favor, His love poured out upon us even when we do not deserve it. Many times we feel inadequate because of our weaknesses, failures, or mistakes, but God does not abandon us in those moments. Instead, His grace meets us where we are and gives us strength to continue. Grace reminds us that we are not saved by our own perfection, but by the mercy and love of Jesus Christ.

God’s grace also teaches us to depend on Him daily. When life becomes heavy and our own strength fails, His grace becomes the foundation that carries us through. Apostle Paul understood this deeply when he learned that God’s power shines brightest in human weakness. Every challenge becomes an opportunity for God to reveal His sustaining power. His grace gives peace in trials, hope in disappointment, and courage in difficult seasons.

As believers, we are also called to extend grace to others. Just as God forgives and shows compassion toward us, we must learn to walk in patience, mercy, and love toward people around us. Grace softens hardened hearts and reflects the character of Christ in our daily lives. When we live by grace, we become channels of God’s kindness in a world that desperately needs His love.

Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank You for Your amazing grace that sustains me every day. Thank You for loving me even in my weakness and for giving me strength when I feel weary. Help me to trust in Your grace instead of relying on my own ability. Teach me to walk in humility, faith, and obedience to You. Let Your grace overflow through my life so I may show love, mercy, and forgiveness to others. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

Good evening saints of God. This is a reminder that we will be having our Midnight Prayer tomorrow night. We will also be partaking in Holy Communion, so please be prepared ( juice and bread - if possible without yeast) and prayerful as we gather in the presence of God. May the Lord bless you, and we look forward to seeing you there.

God bless you all.

“Do not remember the former things, nor consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing...” Isaiah 43:18–19

God spoke these words to His people when they were discouraged and burdened by their past struggles. The Lord wanted them to understand that He was not limited to what He had done before. Sometimes we become trapped by memories of failure, missed opportunities, painful relationships, or seasons of disappointment. But God specializes in new beginnings. He is able to open doors where there were none, heal wounds that seem permanent, and restore hope that has faded.
Holding onto the errors of the past can prevent us from embracing the future God has prepared.

The enemy often reminds believers of what went wrong in order to produce shame, fear, and stagnation. Yet God calls His children to walk in freedom, not condemnation. Through Christ, your failures are not the final chapter of your story. Every setback can become a testimony of God’s grace and restoration. When God forgives, He does not keep a record to use against you later. His mercy gives you the strength to rise again and keep moving forward.

Today, make a decision to trust God with your future instead of mourning your past. There may be scars from yesterday, but there is also purpose ahead of you. God is doing a new thing in your life even if you cannot fully see it yet. Keep praying, keep believing, and keep walking by faith. The same God who brought Israel through the wilderness is able to lead you into a season of renewal, peace, and victory. Your past mistakes cannot cancel God’s calling over your life.

Prayer:
Father, thank You for being the God of new beginnings. Help me to release every regret, failure, and painful memory into Your hands. Remove the weight of guilt and fear that tries to hold me back. Fill my heart with hope and strengthen my faith to move forward into the future You have prepared for me. Teach me to trust Your grace more than my past mistakes. I declare that I will not be bound by yesterday, because You are doing a new thing in my life. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

“Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, I press toward the goal " Philippians 3:13–14

In Philippians 3:13–14, Paul the Apostle gives believers a powerful principle for spiritual growth: “forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark.” Paul was not saying that memory disappears, but that the past should not control the future. Many people are trapped either by past failures, regrets, disappointments, or even past successes that make them spiritually complacent. God calls us to move forward. Yesterday’s mistakes are covered by grace, and yesterday’s victories are only stepping stones for greater purpose. The enemy wants believers to remain stuck in guilt, fear, and discouragement, but Christ calls us into forward movement, growth, and maturity.

The phrase “press toward the mark” paints the picture of a runner straining toward the finish line with determination and focus. A runner who constantly looks backward will lose momentum and direction. In the same way, believers must keep their eyes fixed on Jesus and the calling of God. There will be distractions, delays, betrayals, and seasons of weariness, but spiritual progress requires perseverance. God’s higher calling is not merely about earthly success; it is about becoming more like Christ, walking in obedience, and fulfilling divine purpose. Every trial, delay, and battle can become part of the process God uses to shape and strengthen His people for destiny.

This passage also reminds us that the Christian life is a continual journey. No matter how far we have come, there is always more in God. There are deeper levels of faith, greater intimacy with the Holy Spirit, and higher dimensions of purpose ahead. The believer must maintain spiritual hunger and refuse to settle. Sometimes moving forward requires releasing bitterness, fear, toxic influences, or old mindsets. God is calling His people to rise above stagnation and pursue Him wholeheartedly. When we keep pressing forward in faith, God gives strength for the journey and grace to finish well.

Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank You for calling me forward into Your purpose and destiny. Help me to let go of every weight, regret, failure, and distraction that seeks to hold me back. Give me the strength to press toward the mark with faith, endurance, and spiritual focus. Renew my mind, stir my passion for You, and teach me to trust You in every season. May my life continually grow in obedience, holiness, and purpose. Empower me by Your Spirit to finish my race with joy and victory. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
