Dear Community Partners, Faith Leaders, and Friends,
The Harnett County NAACP is proud to announce our Back to the Pews Voter Registration Drive Tour hosted in partnership with six churches throughout our community and across the County.
This initiative represents a return to our roots. Throughout the history of the NAACP, churches have served as places of hope, organizing, education, advocacy, and collective action. Long before social media and modern organizing tools, communities gathered in sanctuaries and fellowship halls to discuss the issues impacting their lives and to work together toward justice and equality.
Today, we continue that tradition.
With the Back to the Pews Voter Registration Tour come prepared to:
Register to vote or learn how to update your voter information.
Learn about issues impacting Harnett County and North Carolina.
Connect with local leaders and community advocates.
Join the NAACP and support ongoing advocacy efforts.
Commit to taking action that advances justice, equity, and opportunity for all.
We invite you to join us at each stop along the tour as we gather in fellowship and purpose. Together, we will honor our history, uplift our communities, and continue the work of advancing equity, justice, and opportunity for all.
Please see the attached schedule for tour dates, times, and locations.
The Meeting Place is still the gathering place. When we come together in faith, fellowship, and purpose, we honor the legacy of those who came before us and build a stronger future for generations to come.
In Solidarity,
Harnett County NAACP
Rooted in Faith. Committed to Justice. Building Community.
