The Seven Sons of Sceva tried to use the name of Jesus without truly knowing Jesus.

In Acts 19, these seven men saw the power of God working through Paul.
They wanted the authority, but they did not have the relationship.
So they spoke to an evil spirit and said, “We command you by the Jesus whom Paul preaches.”

But the evil spirit answered, “Jesus I know, and Paul I know, but who are you?”

Then the man possessed by the evil spirit overpowered them, and they ran away wounded and ashamed.

This story teaches us a powerful lesson:

You cannot borrow someone else’s relationship with God.
You cannot use the name of Jesus like a magic word.
True spiritual authority comes from truly knowing Him, living for Him, and walking with Him daily.

The name of Jesus has power, but that power must be carried by a life surrendered to Him.

Do not just know about Jesus.
Know Jesus for yourself.

Prayer changes things no matter how bad your circumstances may be reach out to God in prayer . Just like Daniel, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. They all prayed even when decrees were made against praying to God and God honored all their prayers he did not let them burn in a firey furnace nor be eaten up by lions in the den. Their prayers to God caused them to be untouched and gave them favor among men. Remember nothing is to hard for God he hears and answers the prayers of his people all we have to do is pray, seek his face, and believe knowing God is by our side and will heal us, deliver us out of any situation, and even move mountains if he has to. We serve a mighty good God he said he would never leave us nor forsake us he is right there by our side all we have to do is call upon him.
