My Dear Co-Laborers in the Gospel,
There are three evangelistic methods taught in the Word of God with the seed of the fourth to be developed by His Providence and used effectively throughout Church history. They are: 1) preaching evangelism; 2) personal evangelism (sometimes labeled intentional evangelism); 3) friendship evangelism (sometimes labeled relational) – intertwined over a period of time with the others and 4) Gospel literature distribution augmenting all evangelistic efforts.

The Church has historically understood that preaching evangelism is the prince of the methods. When evangelistic preaching is properly done under God, 1) He saves His people whom He has chosen; 2) He begins and continues to draw people to the Christ of the Gospel that is preached; 3) He stirs Christians to want to do any kind of evangelism that they can do and God will bless; 4) and sadly, reprobate people are driven madly away as the reject His mercy and grace in Christ Jesus.
I rejoice in your evangelistic preaching opportunities. May God bless you in them!
