Food Pantry of Virginia Ave UMC Serving those in need in our community. We are open the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of each month during the hours of 2-4 PM. This program was started in 1993 by Rev.

On the 1st and 3rd Wednesday afternoons, volunteers from Virginia Avenue and other churches from the area distribute food from 2 pm to 4 pm. The Food pantry serves both the Tennessee and Virginia residents. Charles Dilks. To be served you MUST bring some form identification indicating who you say you are and where you live. This is necessary to comply with government regulations and record keeping

. If you or someone you know needs food, please direct them to Virginia Avenue United Methodist Church. Any donations of food, personal items, or grocery bags are welcome!

Our June 17th Food Pantry served 159 families from our local communities! Our food Pantry is run completely by volunteers. And we can always use more volunteers and donations. If you would be interested in volunteering contact the church office 423-968-1353, [email protected]. For donations, we are always in need of can foods, can soups, rice, peanut butter, tuna, ect. If you have questions you can contact the office. Our next date for distribution will be July 8th from 1-4.
