With over 130 years of ministry and mission in the community, the church is still seeking additional ways to worship the Lord and serve others in our ever-changing world today. Pastor Robert made it to Lake Junaluska!

Pastor Robert has officially hit the road!

He’s taking on a 110-mile run from John Wesley UMC to Lake Junaluska before Annual Conference this Sunday, all to support the mission work in Embu Kenya. His goal is to raise $1 per mile, and we just heard he’s already made it to Unicoi after knocking out the first 26 miles!

There’s still plenty of time to donate and cheer him on as he keeps going. Be sure to check out our page for updates, photos from the road, and a link to give online while he is on the road. We’re so proud of Pastor Robert and thankful for all of you supporting this mission!
