Our lives are so busy, making it difficult to unplug. We are pulled in so many directions, and we can’t seem to get on top of the constant clamor. And, at times, life can be very painful. We experience unexpected loss, discouragement, and unfulfilled dreams. We may even lose hope.

We want to offer a place to experience tranquility and peace, a place for you to unwind, think about your life, pray, and experience God in creation. We want to offer a place where you can restore! God loves you, and you’re important to Him. Sometimes, it’s difficult to hear His voice, or feel connected to Him, because of the strains of life. Come to Quiet Waters. The Psalmist King David wrote, “He leads me beside quiet waters, He restores my soul” (Ps. 23:2 NV 1984). And Jesus said, “Come to me all who are weary and burdened and I will give you rest.” (Matt. 11:28). We pray that you would encounter the God of creation IN His creation.

Come either by yourself for quiet reflection, or come as a group to enjoy a time of fellowship, learning, and prayer. Men’s retreats, women’s retreats, marriage retreats and annual vision casting meetings can all be held here. We have room for 29 adults, and overflow capacity is available in the main house.

When you come to Quiet Waters, you’ll be stepping onto property that has been dedicated to God for His honor and glory. We want you to experience His presence. Take a quiet walk along the river trails that stretch over five miles. Fish in the river for wild brown trout and beautiful rainbow trout, or go hiking on the Appalachian Trail only a few miles away. Or, simply sit on the porch watching a blazing fire. This can be your place of rest.
