It rained, the power was out, and we couldn’t get to church. So we brought church to us! Our kids learned that WE are the church and that is Love. This Bible study/Children’s Church we celebrated life & our youth chose affirmations and scriptures encouraging them to look at themselves how God sees them. “I am perfect as I am. I am worthy of good things. With Jesus, I can do all things” Philippians 4:13. Prayers for a fun, safe school year and all our children excel. In Jesus Name. Amen 🙏🏾

Our Family & Friends Day was 07.19 and we had a TIMEEEE in the Lord! 😆 Our Youth & Sister Patricia led Praise & Worship, Pastor Johnson preached on God’s protection, and youth chose inspiring Bible verse magnets in Children’s Church. We are so grateful to all who came out to Worship and Celebrate The Love of Jesus, Family, & Community. We pray you all are richly blessed as well as those who desired to attend but could not come. We have a growing Youth Ministry led by Sister Amber who also has experience supporting children with special or additional needs. Everyone is welcome here! On behalf of Pastor Johnson, First Lady Johnson, and the MPFMBC Family: you are welcome to fellowship with us every 3rd Sunday @ 11AM, Wednesdays @ 6PM, & anytime our doors are open! God Bless!

Reflections:
1. The way to God is through Jesus, the 🔑 to Life
2. A life without Jesus is an unfulfilled life, spiritually considered no life at all
3. God cares about us and we can share our cares with God
4. Jesus sacrificed His life so we may live spiritually.
5. We will fall short i.e., hurt others, ourselves, ultimately God. Through Jesus Christ we have a chance to be forgiven by God. But we have to mean it in our hearts and choose better (turn away from sin).
6. A follower of Christ goes deeper than looking Holy but living, Being Holy
7. How does my Life show that I follow Christ?
8. How’s my heart?

*Wednesday Worship/Bible Study/Children’s Church will resume on January 7, 2026*

Look at what joy our children bring to Wednesday Worship! We learn about the love of Jesus supported with everyday life examples. We pray, read and study scriptures, and we move our bodies in Worship. This occasion we reviewed and recited The Nativity Story: The Birth of Jesus. And we gathered in song and had some food for the Soul and stomach lol We wish each of you a Merry Christmas and remember: JESUS is the reason for the season! Bless you!

We are so grateful our youth ministry is growing @ Mt. Pleasant Freewill MBC. These little hearts bring such Light & Joy to our Bible Studies! Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.” -Matthew 19:14 We welcome all children and have a special needs ministry.
