TRINITY SUNDAY
Exodus 34:4–6, 8–9
Daniel 3:52–56
2 Corinthians 13:11–13
John 3:16–18

Our lives as Christians evolves around what we celebrate this weekend. We wake up in the morning and sign ourselves with the Trinity, eat and sign ourselves, do things during the day in the same way, and finish the day by signing ourselves. It starts and ends with in the name of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. We receive our Baptism in the early stage of our lives in the Trinitarian formular and at the grave side our lives end at the Trinitarian formula.

This is the Honor given to one God who has three personalities. And is co-equal and co-eternal. This is the explanation that human as we are have tried to understand and explain with our limitations. Trying to understand the mystery of divine BEING. This is a matter of faith. It must be seen as such and accepted in the same way. That God has manifested Himself in various ways and forms to humanity in His efforts to bring us back to Himself. He is the same God in different personalities. One person with different personalities.

The revelation of the Father, Son and the Holy Spirit tells us what God is for us. However, as to the mysterious unity of Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, we can only stammer with inadequate human concepts, which are not able to express the ineffable mystery of God in Himself. Human beings want to know. We need to understand that knowing about God is knowing God, the way two beloved ones know each other.

The first reading of this weekend speaks of the nature of God and humanity. While we are stiff-necked, He is gracious, merciful, slow to anger and rich in kindness. This is the time God had given the commandments to Moses after Moses had spent some time with the Lord on the mountain and returned to see the people worshipping other gods made by their own hands. We are presented with how we are stubborn but God despite our stubbornness, pardons us.

On the contrary Paul tells us what should be done as Christians. How we should mend our ways to fit the ways of God. We need to encourage one another on the things of God.

We must greet one another with a holy kiss. Being a Christian comes with a character formation that should lead to a God-like way of life. Paul finishes his advice with what we celebrate: the Trinity. "...the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ and the love of God and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with all of you ". Paul is one of the scriptural writers who really understood the Trinity. In most of the letters he wrote he greeted his audience with the trinitarian formular or blessed them with it.

Without love no one can or will give his last money or one thing out to someone of no value. The world is of great value to God that's why He gave His ONLY SON to us. It is an opportunity for those who are lost to come back to the eternal salvation God offers. And so, whoever believes in Jesus will possess the eternity promised us.

However, those who fail to respect that great gift offered to humanity will certainly give account of what they rejected and pay dearly for it. May the Lord help us to recognize his love and reciprocate it all the days of our lives. Amen. Peace!!!
