Update on Joel’s Recovery ❤️🩹
Joel was moved this week to Eastern Iowa Rehabilitation Hospital in Coralville, where he’ll be working hard every day with four 1-hour therapy sessions (with short breaks in between). This is a major step forward as he rebuilds the strength to come home! 💪
His stay doesn’t have a set end date—it all depends on how his body responds to therapy. He’s not quite up for visitors yet, but we can still show up for him in powerful ways.
Let’s flood him with encouragement and love! 🎉
He especially lights up at kids’ drawings, funny cards, and kind words—anything to remind him he’s not alone and so deeply loved.
