Join us September 13th as we kick off the Sunday School year with a Blessing of Backpacks during 9:30am service, and Rally Day from 10:30am-11:30am! We will have bounce houses, free popcorn, crafts, and games.

Join us every Sunday afterwards from 10:30am-11:30am for Sunday School!

This weekend we celebrate the Semiquincentennial of our nation’s independence. If you are in Brighton for the Fourth of July parade on Saturday morning come join us on our front lawn where we will be giving out hotdogs, popcorn, and water. Then come join us on Sunday (indoors) for worship at 10 am as we hear Jesus’ invitation to come to him and rest.

Sometimes we think that being a follower of Jesus means we have to do heroic things for him. Or the needs of the world overwhelm us and we wonder how we can share the love of Jesus with everyone. This Sunday we will hear Jesus remind us that even small actions a can make a difference.

Our worship service this Sunday is entitled “Travels, Trips and Journeys.” As summer travel season gets into full swing, Scripture reminds us that no matter where our journeys take us, God’s our steadfast guide and companion. Worship is at 10 am followed by a free Father’s Day brunch.

Starting this coming Sunday, June 7, we will changing our worship schedule for the summer months - one service at 10 am. In our gospel this Sunday we will hear about Jesus showing mercy, good news in a world in which it sometimes feels as if mercy is in short supply.
