In an attempt to back Jesus in a corner, the religious leaders soon realize they are the ones who are on the defense. Life can be hard, but as they find out, it’s harder when you think your acceptance with God rests on you. Join us this Sunday to rest upon Christ and His finished work and allow the acceptance we already have in Him propel us to love Him.

In John 7, we see that the timing of the Father can’t be rushed or altered by others. His timing may not be ours, but as we will see, it is perfect. We would love to have you join us this Sunday for a sermon titled “In the Fathers Hand.”

📣Awana starts this Wednesday!!

✝️Our Fall season of Awana starts on Wednesday, September 30th, from 6:30-8:00. Awana will run 3 weeks on and then we will be off for the 4th week. The fall season will have 6 sessions, ending in November before the busy holiday season!

📣Please note that we changed the ages of the kids who can attend to Kindergarten- 6th grade instead of starting with 3&4 year olds. We had such a huge turnout of kids, our building and small classrooms were just becoming too small. This also allows us to separate our group down into smaller groups.

✔️No need to register online this year! If you have never attended Awana, come a few minutes early on the first session to sign up!

We are looking forward to seeing all the kids again! ⛪️

In John 7, several religious leaders fail to connect the dots as to who Jesus is. This Sunday, we will dive into God’s word and see why they, and we often don’t see things from Gods perspective… and what we can do to see people and circumstances from His perspective. The sermon is titled ‘Blurry Vision.’ Hope to see you! Service starts at 10 am!

Coming off of Jesus’s latest miracle his disciples’ faith is about to be tested in order to prepare them to live out what he’s been teaching-though their circumstances may change, His proximity to them never will. Join us as we take a deeper look at how the Lord often uses our circumstances to give us what we need most…. A deeper connection to him!

That’s a wrap with VBS 2026 at the church. What a great week we had. So many kids learned more about Jesus, which is the real reason behind what we do! On a fun note, the GIRLS won the offering challenge. We are able to donate $715 dollars to Jane’s House!! A huge thank you to all of the parents who dropped off their kids every night. TONIGHT (Wednesday) is family night at Jerseyville pool starting at 6pm. We can’t wait to see Alex get a pie in the face 😎💦
