In case you haven't heard, tomorrow is Move Up! Follow the links at the bottom of this post for more info about the logistics of each age group.

Rising K-4th graders are invited to join in on our Under the Sea, while Nursery-Preschoolers are invited to join in on our Space theme. Even if it's just wearing a color that makes you think of under the sea or space, we'd love for as many kids to join in as possible!

18 kids decided to follow Jesus for the first time today! 🎉🥳🙌🌟

Here’s the truth: if you want to go to Heaven, you need Jesus. But He offers us the free gift of salvation when we choose to follow Him!

And here’s another truth: no matter where you or your kids are in you walk with Jesus, we’re here to support you, celebrate the milestones with you, and cheer you on as you lead your family towards Jesus.

Why does camp matter? Here’s what Carol has to say about her kid’s experience at Summer Jam…

The most impactful decision my family made last summer was to send our kids to their first ever sleep away summer camp.

Their enthusiasm for all things camp radiates from them in excited retellings of fun camp activities, belly laughs of silly camp shenanigans, and in quiet moments of reflection for just having time set aside in the summer to focus on faith and friendship.

It’s easy to get tripped up on using fancy words or praying a certain way. But kids in our prayer class today heard something that adults need reminding of sometimes: you can pray anytime, anywhere, about anything, in any way. And God hears you because He cares about you.
Thanks to our families who joined us today! We loved taking next steps in prayer with you and your kiddos 🧡

Our team is willing to do whatever it takes to share the Gospel with kids: especially Miss Maggie! This is her at camp this summer, but most Sundays you can find her loving littles at 11.
Maggie says, “I love that by serving with kids, I can worship God in a way that is fun and exciting. And I love knowing that, even if these kids are too young now to remember, I can still make an impact in their lives.”
She also shared, “the biggest impact I’ve seen is in my own personal relationship with God. Since serving with kids, my faith has grown so much, and I’ve experienced a level of joy and fulfillment I’ve never had anywhere else.”
Miss Maggie we LOVE the way you light up while serving and it is a joy to have you on our team 🧡
Maggie serves because she believes this ministry matters to the kids and because this ministry matters to her.

We bet you recognize this smiling face! Annette serves as our New Here / Kids First Impressions team lead and she bridges the gap between kids check-in and adults.
Annette says, " I have the pleasure of helping new families get familiar with the Kid’s Ministry and individuals become acquainted with the church. Being a part of the team is being a part of the 242 family. The random members coming up and saying they look forward to seeing your smiling face each week, or just wanting their weekly hug. The excitement in someone’s eyes when they are ready to commit their life to Jesus and being baptized. The list goes on and on. Serving on the team is not just a box being checked, it is allowing me to use the gifts God has given me to share with others."
Every weekend, Annette sees the impact of kids minsitry, on not just the kids, but their parents too. She knows it matters!
Thank you Annette, for being such a bright light at our New Here station and beyond 🧡

Everyone say "Hi" to Miss Michelle! She serves as a kindergarten small group leader at 9:30.
Michelle says, "it’s important to me that kids learn the gospel early and naturally, so it becomes a part of who they are. It’s such a privilege to be a part of that." She goes on to say, "The kids in my group are eager. They love being at church, and that enthusiasm is contagious. We have FUN together. In the time we’ve spent together I’ve seen them develop friendships, learn scripture, and even help their community as a group! They are really growing up to be like Jesus."
Miss Michelle serves because she knows the impact that kids ministry makes in our church and in the lives of the kids she disciples. This Matters!
Thank you for all you do to lead and love those crazy kinders! 🧡
