How this all started...
January 12th 2019 we hit our "I've HAD IT!!" moment and began our journey to becoming debt free following the plan put together by Dave Ramsey, "Financial Peace University". After a lot of self sacrifice, denial, and telling the kids NO to just about everything.... 27 months later on April 16th 2021 we paid off $196,302 and became debt free of everything but the house! s new found freedom is unexplainable and the peace that comes with it! After paying off all our consumer debt we began praying and asking God what the next step would be for our lives.... it became heavier and heavier on our hearts to sell the house and become completely debt free. This decision did not come easy! We spent about 6 months discussing it and praying about it. Well, we sold the house and moved into the RV full time in April 2022....exactly 1 year after becoming debt free! We feel that the Holy Spirit is calling us out to something very different so we left our jobs and are now living full time on the road. This new life is not easy and will have many extreme highs but also many extreme lows but whatever may come we are keeping our hearts open to whatever God is leading us to do.....we are now waiting on the NEXT STEP...
In the mean time we have put away plenty of savings and with my military retirement we can travel for the next year and wait on God's direction....thanks for stopping by to visit our page and I pray you will be encouraged by it!
