Mornin’ Lord....out ridin’ through the herd this mornin’ I’m feelin’ good to be out here in the silence if only for a lil while. That sick calf we doctored the other day is up and runnin’ with his tail in the cool mornin’ air and that feels pretty good to me. Gives a guy hope. Thank you for that. Lord I’m askin’ that we as Your children start actin’ like family, caring for and bein’ kind to one another. Thank you for my prayin’ momma cuz now I’m prayin’ for her too. Show our nation the direction you want us to take Lord...soften our hearts so our ears can hear and our feet will follow your path again. Love you Lord...all I ask for, like that calf...is a second chance. In Jesus name, amen

Today’s Blessing

On this Thanksgiving Day, may you set aside your fears, worries, and frustrations, and dwell in the space God has given you at the moment. May you look for Him in this place. Listen for His voice. And receive the comfort He provides. May you relish every bite of nourishment from your table. May you notice the little things that you’d miss if they were gone tomorrow. Take in and savor the blessings that are all too easy to take for granted. God is in the details. He’s been good to you in ways that are completely unique to your story. Notice these sacred moments and give thanks for all that is right in your world. May the Lord make Himself especially real to you in the coming days. And may you grow in your capacity to live a grateful, awe-inspiring life because Jesus is alive within you. Have a most blessed, sacred Thanksgiving holiday.
