Be among the first people in history to experience Eucharistic Consecration. This consecration is an invitation to dedicate yourself to God and make yourself 100 percent available to Him. It will prepare you to make an unconditional surrender to Jesus in the Eucharist, filling your life with the astounding clarity and lasting joy only He can provide.

While anyone may make the consecration at any time, individually or as a group, you are invited to take part in an upcoming group consecration:

Introductory Session - Wednesday, January 22, 7 pm at Holy Trinity

Weekly Group Meetings on Wednesdays through February 26

Consecration - Sunday, March 2 at the Shrine Chapel in Raritan (Time TBA)

The consecration uses the book 33 Days to Eucharistic Glory. A limited number of free books will be available at the introductory meeting.

On Christmas Eve, Pope Francis opened the Holy Door at St. Peter's Basilica to open the Year of Jubilee. This is a special time for the Church throughout the world, as we seek deeper conversion and spiritual growth through repentance, reconciliation, and mercy.

Bishop Checchio has designated four pilgrimage sites in the Diocese of Metuchen, where the faithful may obtain the Jubilee Indulgence from now until December 8, 2025:

St. Francis Cathedral, Metuchen
*Shrine Chapel of the Blessed Sacrament, Raritan*
Blue Army Shrine of Our Lady of Fatima, Washington Twp.
National Shrine of St. Lucy Filippini, New Brunswick

The following conditions apply for the reception of the Jubilee Indulgence:

-Reception of Holy Communion
-Prayer for the Intentions of the Holy Father
-Sincere intention to detach from all sin, even venial sin, and, if necessary, sacramental Confession
-Participating in liturgical celebrations, or other designated religious activities connected to the Jubilee.

This Sunday, July 7, the Most Rev. James F. Checchio, JCD, MBA, Bishop of Metuchen, will make a pastoral visit to Holy Trinity and preside at the 10:30 am Mass. All are welcome, and all parishioners are encouraged to attend.

Since he became our Bishop in 2016, Bishop Checchio has made a point of visiting every parish in the diocese at least once per year. On most weekends, he visits three parishes. His most recent visit to Holy Trinity was last September for our 75th Anniversary Dinner Dance.

This Sunday, Bishop Checchio will also be visiting St. Ann's in Raritan to celebrate the 12 noon Mass.
