Today we reflected on Phillipians 4:4-8, where in Paul's letter we are told to be the pay attention adventurer. We were told where our focuses should be in following Jesus and The Way. This is especially important in today's society where distractions are at our fingertips and our information and attention is bought and sold as currency.

I celebrated my final worship service at Bridgewater United Methodist Church today. My heart is filled with gratitude for the privilege of serving this congregation for the past nine years. Thank you for your love, prayers, friendship, and faithful partnership in ministry. Together we have shared moments of joy and sorrow, growth and transformation, always trusting in God's grace. As I shared in my final sermon, "Choose Love,“ may we continue to love one another as Christ has loved us and work for justice, compassion, and hope for all God's people. Thank you, Bridgewater UMC. Today we had the joy of celebrating Flo Kee’s 100th birthday with her family and friends. What a beautiful blessing to gather in gratitude for a life well lived, filled with faith, love, and cherished memories. It was a wonderful day of fellowship, laughter, and thanksgiving. Please keep Flo in your prayers as she continues to be surrounded by God's grace, peace, and love in this remarkable season of life.
