South Jersey House of Prayer Contending for night and day prayer out of South Jersey In April, we celebrate the 6th year of a commitment to stand in the gap for our area.

We believe in the inerrancy of the Bible and the sixty-six books that it contains. The Church (Jew and Gentile) are obligated to walk in full obedience, pursuing a "sermon on the mount" lifestyle, as we await the "blessed hope", the visible return of the Lord Jesus Christ to rule the nations in righteousness. h Jersey House of Prayer is thankful for the way that the Lord has shown favor in directing us as a body of intercessors who are contending for day and night prayer in South Jersey. We praise the Lord for how He:

- Connected us with the Harp and Bowl model for prayer when many of us were looking for a way to stand as prayer warriors (OneThing 2006)
- Called us into an armory to "do battle," and gave us a strategic plan
- Gave us an Ezekiel mandate over Israel
- Connected us with Exodus Cry and birthed out of prayer a desire to act justly (SJ Community Justice Group)
- Connected us to a network of prayer with individuals at CCO, Alpha USA, and area churches, as well as other houses of prayer in NJ (Resting Place HOP and IHOP Eastern Gate) and on the East Coast

Our usual Saturday night prayer gathering will be moved to the Heaven Matters event beginning at 5pm tonight at St. Andrews Episcopal Church at 186 E. Commerce Street. Come join us as we unite with area churches to proclaim, "May it be in Bridgeton as it is in Heaven...Your Kingdom come to Bridgeton, Your will be done in Bridgeton."

Friends, this Saturday at 5pm we will gather with over a dozen congregations in the Bridgeton region to declare "Your will be done in Bridgeton as it is in Heaven." Months ago, Mayor Albert Kelly renamed the site on Commerce Street "Peace Plaza." Hundreds across the area have been fasting and praying since August 2017 for the culture of the Kingdom to come to Bridgeton, the Great City of Prayer. Join us! Healing and children's intercessory tents will be set up, as well.

Tonight, we celebrate 10 years of intercession at SJHOP. God is faithful! We will be @ the Sullivan House at 6:30pm, not our usual location. Intercession continues at our 3CF location next Saturday, April 22nd.
