Fundamentals 15-2: Judgment and Salvation in the Last Days: Even Jesus Does Not Judge.
It is said that God entrusted the authority to judge to Jesus so that the Son, Jesus, might be honored as God is; and God gave not only the authority to judge but also all authority in heaven and on earth to the Son, Jesus. This is because God is Spirit and therefore cannot judge people who have physical bodies; thus, He gave the authority to judge, as well as all authority in heaven and on earth, to Jesus, who took on human flesh.
However, Jesus did not exercise His authority to judge but died on the cross in place of all humanity’s sins; therefore, Christ became Spirit.
2 Corinthians 3:17 Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.
Romans 8:9 But if the Spirit of God dwells in you, you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit. And anyone who does not have the Spirit of Christ
does not belong to Christ.
Since the Lord is the Spirit, it is stated that anyone who does not have the Spirit of Christ is not a follower of Christ.
1 Peter 3:18 For Christ also suffered once for sins, the righteous for the unrighteous, that he might bring us to God. He was put to death in the flesh but made alive by the Spirit.
The reason Christ can only exist for us as Spirit is that He was put to death in the flesh but was made alive in the Spirit. Therefore, the ascended Lord said, “I will be with you always, even to the end of the age.”
In this way, since Jesus knew that He would henceforth be present only as Spirit, He said, “If anyone hears my words and does not keep them, I do not judge him.”
John 12:47 “If anyone hears my words and does not keep them, I do not judge him. For I did not come to judge the world, but to save the world.”
Since God is Spirit, He entrusted the authority to judge to Jesus; however, because Jesus is also Spirit, He cannot fulfill the mission of judgment received from God. Therefore, He said, “If anyone hears my words but does not keep them, I do not judge him,” and He stated that He came into the world not to judge the world, but to save it.
Therefore, He said that there is another who judges those who deny and reject Jesus, as well as those who do not accept His words; and He stated that on the last day—the day of judgment—it was the “judge” who judged the world through the words Jesus spoke.
He prophesied that this world would be judged—not by Jesus Himself, but by a specific person appointed by Him—through those who have received Christ’s words. Through the aforementioned words, the Lord declared that He judges no one, and that “the one who judges”—as the Lord Himself said—would appear to judge those who have forsaken Him and have not received His words.

The appearance of the Son of Perdition and the apostate signals the most critical period and time of Christ’s Second Coming.
2 Thessalonians 2:1–2: “Brothers and sisters, we ask you not to be easily shaken in mind or alarmed, either by a spirit or a spoken word or a letter supposedly from us, claiming that the Day of the Lord has already come.”
To “ask” in the written Word means to make a request. In other words, it means there is a request regarding the coming of Jesus Christ and our gathering before Him. This passage is intended to inform those awaiting His return of an important matter they must know.
In the written Word, “Do not be easily swayed” means do not let your heart be easily moved, and do not commit or make a decision lightly. It means that even if it is claimed that Christ has returned in the Spirit, do not be easily swayed; nor should you be easily swayed if it is claimed that Christ is in the wilderness or in a private room; and furthermore, even if a letter (or book) regarding Christ’s coming is said to have been delivered to someone, it is said that you should “not be easily swayed or frightened.” This is a request and
