Some Sundays don’t come to shout… they come to heal.

This past Sunday, we were reminded that grief is not a sign that faith failed — it’s evidence that love was real.

Pastor Stallworth sermon title was “When Jesus Walks With Us.”
This sermon showed us that even in loss, confusion, and heavy seasons, we are never walking alone. Jesus meets us on the road of sorrow, sits with us in our questions, and gently restores hope where pain once lived.

Grief may change us, but God walks with us through every step of it — carrying what feels too heavy to hold.

If you came in weary, hurting, or remembering someone you love… know this: healing is a journey, and Christ walks every mile with us.

Today we honor the quiet strength behind every powerful worship experience — our incredible Ushers.

Before the first song is sung and long after service ends, you serve with excellence, patience, and grace. You create order, extend warmth, and make every person who walks through the doors feel seen, welcomed, and cared for.

Your ministry may begin at the door, but its impact reaches hearts. You set the atmosphere for worship simply by serving with love.

East End is better because of your faithfulness, your servant hearts, and your commitment to God’s house. We see you. We appreciate you. We celebrate you.

Thank you for serving with joy and representing the spirit of true ministry. 💙

Still carrying Sunday into Monday.

Yesterday’s worship wasn’t just a moment — it was a reminder of how powerful it is to be planted in a community where you can worship freely, serve wholeheartedly, and grow spiritually.

The Word is still sitting with us today: stay faithful, stay planted, and trust what God is building in this season.

Starting the week full, focused, and thankful.

There’s something powerful that happens when hearts are open and God meets us right where we are.

Grateful for a community that shows up hungry, expectant, and ready to experience transformation together.

If you walked in tired, we pray you left renewed.
If you walked in heavy, we pray you left lighter.
And if you walked in searching… we pray you found Him.
