Today was just another great night with our Youth Group. We had a great dinner out in this beautiful weather, before the wind came in.
Last week we left off on learning about Sanctification, and today we went ahead and got into the meaning of it a little bit more to understand it better.
We looked in the book of Romans in chapters 6,7, and 8, where it clearly tells us how being apart or different from the world can save you from many things in life. As a believer you will be either controlled by the flesh or by the spirit. Again as a believer the more knowledge you gain the more likely you will get tempted to sin. If you stay in the word, apart yourself from bad company, bad habits, and places, you will have the power to get back or remain in fellowship as many times as needed. The moment we start to believe and confess our sins, we are saved by grace.
This doesn’t mean that you can keep sinning, you have to grow more into the word to stay in fellowship with God. Setting yourself apart won’t happen from one day to another, as you grow spiritually daily, you will have the power to stay away from anything that does not get you closer to God.
