What a beautiful day of worship, God's Work Our Hands service projects, a delicious meal, and fellowship with Bishop Julie Schneider-Thomas, visitors, and pastors and members of the ELCA Saginaw County churches: Ascension in Shields, Zion in Freeland, Resurrection in Saginaw, Our Savior in Saginaw, Faith in Saginaw, and we at St. Matt's. Our offerings today will be given to the Saginaw Community Food Club and Kitchen. The many baskets of new socks that we gathered will be distributed to local agencies. The school kits we assembled will be sent via Lutheran World Relief to children in the U.S and around the world. The personal care items will be delivered to the Underground Railroad. We were privileged to host this day of joy and sharing.
