Happy 29th Church Anniversary Mount Nebo Full Gospel Baptist Church!

We would like to thank Pastor Jared H. Feggans, Senior and the members of Mount Zion Baptist Church in Port Chester, NY for the love and the fellowship we shared today.

Pastor Feggans preached and on time word from James 4:1-5 and his Sermon was called “Contention in the Church” which was such a relevant word for the body of Christ today. He said we need to be more about the Gods church and less about ourselves and when we do that, God will Bless the Church and everyone that pours into his Church.

Our service was so good! We had great music thanks to Brother Roger Shoffner and the Mount Nebo Choir. We had great food thanks to our Pastor and everyone else who cooked! And we definitely had a great word, thanks to Pastor Feggans and the Mount Zion family!

And a huge thank you to all of our visiting church’s! We’re so grateful you all came out to share this day with us!

And last but not least, Thank you Jesus Christ for standing by Mount Nebo Full Gospel Baptist Church during these past 29 years!

After 29 Years, Mount Nebo, “We’re Still Standing.” Our Pastor asked us Why? Because that same ROCK that Bishop Paul S. Morton gave to Bishop Wallace Nelson 29 years ago is that same ROCK that we’re all standing on today and that was nobody God!

Pastor said some people counted us out and some even said we would never make it with this big church, but look at us now. The same God that started this church is the same God who carried us all the way until today!

—We’re still standing because of God’s Mercy!

—We’re still standing because of God’s Compassion!

—We’re still standing because God Love his Church!

And then Pastor said, look out Mount Nebo because God is not finished with us yet! God is about to do a new thing and our God is about to take us into a new season of higher heights and deeper depths. Why again? Because God is not done with us yet!

Happy Resurrection Sunday to God’s people!

Our Sermons on the Mount came from Revelations 5:1-14 and our Pastors sermon was entitled “Worthy Is The Lamb.”

We gather on this blessed Easter Sunday to celebrate not just an empty tomb but a victorious Savior. The stone that was rolled away and death was defeated and hope was restored. And because of his sacrifice, the Bible tells us we all have been redeemed. Hallelujah!

Worthy, worthy, worthy is the Lamb of God who took on the sins of the world so we might be freed from sin and live again. Worthy is the Lamb that was slain for you and for me!

—He is worthy of your praise, when things are right and when they go wrong.

—He is worthy of your praise when life gets hard and when life is good.

Our God is worthy to be PRAISED!

Why because over 2000 years ago on a hill called Calvary, Jesus Christ, the Son of God was wounded for transgressions, bruised for our iniquities and the chastisement of our peace was upon him and by his stripes we are healed!

Thank you Jesus! You are worthy, worthy, worthy!

Lord, we thank you and Father, we love you! Why, because you continue to pour out your blessings upon little ole Mount Nebo Full Gospel Church!

Our Pastor started our morning service by telling us Spring is here and our God is about to do a new thing. His sermon was entitled “Spring is coming and a new season is upon us.” His scripture came from Isaiah 43:19, “Behold, I will do a new thing, now shall I spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.”

Pastor said Spring is coming and it’s filled with hope and new beginnings. He said the first word in this scripture today is “Behold” meaning look up, pay attention and don’t miss out because things are about to change before our very eyes.

Pastor then went on to say too many of us are stuck looking backwards. Stuck replaying the old things that hurt us in the past. But Church I want you to remember, God said Behold, I will do a new thing as long as you trust me. He said we need to forget about the former things; and do not dwell on the past. Why? Because you cannot step into the new things coming in your future, if you’re holding onto the pain in your past!

So in our Pastors closing he said, lift up our heads, let go of what was, because Behold God is not finished with us yet. He said don’t let your past define your future because the same God who changes the seasons is the same God who can do a new thing in your life ♥️
