Jr. High Parents! 😊

Just wanted to send out another reminder about Jr. High Spectacular on Saturday, October 3rd!

If you aren’t familiar with Jr. High Spectacular, it’s a diocesan event specifically for 6th–8th grade youth at Christ Central Camp. It gives our junior high kids a chance to spend the day with other Catholic youth from around the diocese while having fun and growing in their faith.

The day will include games, music, prayer, outdoor activities, and a dynamic Catholic speaker, Cooper Ray, and will end with Mass. Parish check-in begins at 10:00 AM and the day concludes with Mass at 4:00 PM.

Cost is $35 and includes lunch.

The final registration deadline is September 24, so we only have a few days left to get anyone registered who would like to attend!

Even if your child hasn’t been very involved with CYM yet, they are absolutely welcome. This would be a great opportunity for them to come experience something fun with other kids their age!

CYM had a very special visitor this week! Most Rev. Jose Corazon T. Tala-oc, D.D.
Bishop Emeritus of the Diocese of Kalibo
Aklan, Philippines joined Father Ernie at our gathering.

Our kids enjoyed getting to meet him, visit, and take a picture together. What a sweet reminder that our Catholic faith connects us to people all over the world. We’re so thankful he took the time to spend a little of his visit with our St. Henry youth!

🍝 Come hungry and help support our youth!

St. Henry CYM and the Knights of Columbus are teaming up for our annual Spaghetti Dinner Fundraiser on Sunday, September 27, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in the Activities Building!

We’re especially excited to bring back the dine-in option this year! We can’t wait to enjoy great food and fellowship with everyone after Mass. Take-out meals will also be available.

🎟️ Tickets are $13 and can be purchased from any CYM member or by scaning the QR code on the flyer.

Every ticket helps our young people attend the 2027 Diocesan Convention, where they’ll have the opportunity to grow in their faith and build lasting friendships. Please grab a plate, invite your family and friends, and help us support the future of our Church! ❤️⛪️

Thank you for supporting St. Henry CYM—we can’t wait to serve you!
