💡 This Little Light of Mine 💡

For 25 years, one little light bulb faithfully shined in our church sanctuary.

While countless other bulbs burned out and were replaced, this one kept glowing week after week, service after service, song after song. It witnessed baptisms, weddings, funerals, prayers, laughter, tears, and countless people worshiping God.

Today, we finally replaced it with a new LED bulb.

As we took it down, we couldn’t help but think about the old hymn:

🎵 “This little light of mine, I’m gonna let it shine…” 🎵

That little bulb reminded us of a simple truth. God doesn’t ask us to be the brightest light in the room. He simply asks us to keep shining faithfully wherever He places us.

For 25 years, that little light quietly did its job. No applause. No recognition. Just faithful service.

What a picture of the Christian life.

May we shine God’s love just as faithfully—through every season, every challenge, and every opportunity He gives us.

Well done, little light. Your work is finished. ❤️

🚨 BUC-EE’s is FINALLY in COLUMBUS!
We’ve just learned that Buc-ee’s is expanding to Columbus… and they apparently have started a new business model! 🦫🎨 Brice Church is Buc-ee’s first trial run for his new business venture!

Pastor Nick said he had a painting crew lined up…

We just didn’t realize it would be Buc-ee! 😆 After hearing about our sanctuary renovation, Buc-ee showed up with a whole crew of eager beavers armed with paint rollers, ladders, and enough energy to keep them busy for weeks!! Buc-ee’s little beavers got to right to work starting the transformation of our sanctuary due to the flood. It is beginning to look amazing!

In all seriousness, we’re incredibly thankful for everyone who has volunteered their time, talents, and energy to help with our sanctuary renovation. Progress is able to finally be seen! It takes a lot of hands to accomplish big things—and whether you’re a busy beaver or not, we’re grateful for every one of you!

🏕️ We had an incredible time kicking off Brice Summer Day Camp last week! From exploring the trails to our indoor camping adventures and creative building sessions, it was a week full of fun, learning, and new friendships. ☀️

God’s Faithfulness: Undefeated

Pastor Nick and Renee are proof that you can survive flood damage, construction delays, and endless paperwork…

…with enough prayer and coffee ☕ we will rebuild the sanctuary even better then before! The painters started today!
