After a couple of recent trips I realized that we have plenty of baggage to pack our material things in, which is good, of course. That baggage stays in storage until we need it. However, there's another type of baggage we use. It's the kind of baggage that we pack our struggles and troubles in and we carry it around daily—unseen baggage. Some of us have a shoulder bag full, some lug around a carry-on size, while some of us have a steamer trunk loaded to the hilt with a cover that will barely close. Emotional and physical hurts baggage...what size are you carrying?
God wants to help us and heal us with the stuff we all carry around. He wants to heal our brokenness and bind up our wounds. One way He does it is through unity in the body of Christ, in church, through confession and prayer. Sometimes the prayer is private with the pastor or elders, or sometimes corporately with a number of brothers and sisters in Christ. The choice is yours, but church is always a good place to be. Make it point to be at The Remnant Christian Fellowship this Sunday. Service time is 9:30am. A wonderful church family is ready to pray for you. Grace and peace. — Nelson 'Church Elder'
