Youth Night will not gather this coming Monday, September 7, since it’s Labor Day.

But last night, August 31, we had a wonderful gathering. We had about 35 high school aged students who enjoyed a meal prepared and served by Mrs. Cindy Kiser, a devotion by their very own Carter Rice, and then just good old fellowship!

We will see y’all September 14 for another night of connection and encouragement at Youth Night at CMBC.

Today we are grateful for our deacons and members who stand in the gap and serve wherever they are needed. Our guests, the Liberty Road singers and players blessed us with their talent and their dedication to the Lord.

Youth night! We had 30 students tonight and we are so grateful! This has been such a good thing and such a God thing! These young people are showing up on Monday nights to hang out, eat, hear the Truth about who God is and how He wants to walk us through life, and then to just have lots of fun! We plan to have this gathering again on August 24, which is the first day of school in Transylvania County. If you know a high school student who needs encouragement and a safe place to spend Monday evening, tell them to gather a few friends and come!

6:30-8:30 is the new time starting Monday the 24th!

We missed our resident “Hope dealer and hype man”, Tyler, but we wish he and his family many congrats as they just welcomed their precious son! 🩵

We had another great Youth Night. Thankful for great folks who helped provide the meal!
Thank you Tyler for another great devotional and time of encouragement. Tonight a volleyball game commenced after the meal and it made us happy to know that this space is being used like it has been in years past. We think of members like Tony Cornett and others who have gone on to be with Jesus but loved the youth of their time. We feel blessed to get to open our doors to this group of kids and there is always room for more. If you know a high school aged student who could use a safe and fun place to spend Monday evenings then tell them about this gathering!

We won't have Wednesday evening service to give our pastor and members a much-needed break from all their work at the church.
