From the Vicar,
In the Gospel reading for the Second Sunday after Trinity, our Lord gives to us the
Parable of the Great Supper. Therefore, in preparation for this upcoming Sunday, I
would strongly encourage each of you to read Luke 14:15-24 before Sunday, and
afterward please read the Exhortation on pages 88 to 89 of the 1928 Book of
Common Prayer. As we prepare to gather at the Lord's Table, may we all heed His
call to come to the Feast of our salvation without excuse.
