BRETZ, WV RESIDENTS & ANYONE WHO IS INTERESTED IN BRETZ, PLEASE NOTE: IMPORTANT NEWS....PLEASE READ AND PASS THE WORD....
As most of you know, the Community Building belongs to the county. A decision has been made by the Preston County Commisssion regarding the reugulations concerning the building. A new Board is being formed. Out of this board will come officers. The new board and officers will be assigned by Preston County Commission. All you have to do to be CONSIDERED part of the new board and possibly an officer is let the County commission know you are interested by either contacting them by email: [email protected] or by fax: 304.329.3192, or by letting me know. You must submit your name before MONDAY, JUNE 9, 2014 AT 9:00AM....If you have quesitons you can call: 304 329 1805 or you can also call me....The commission will charge a small monthly fee for leasing the building and the Bretz Comm. ASSoc. (as it will be called) will carry insurance on the building & be responsible for the upkeep of the road. The commission stated that after a year, if no improvements have been made to the building, they will re-visit the issue and possibly at that time reconsider selling it. Respectfully submitted for all of Bretz by Peggy Boring, someone who has loved being a part of Bretz and sharing in your lives. I hope that all of you consider and remember all the good things that has been accomplished through The Bretz Comm. Assoc., Inc., that I was part of and that we not only made major improvements on the school house but always did projects for people in the community. Our main focus was outreach to the community not just the schoolhouse. My heart will forver be connected to the people of Bretz.
